Patti Peterson opened Desert Crest Financial of Nevada in 2009. With over 30 years of experience, she has helped thousands of clients with retirement, estate, and investment planning.
Patti combines her years of experience in the institutional retirement market with the new and innovative independent client tools provided by Desert Crest Financial - a great relationship to foster the financial goals of clients.
Patti's career began with her work as an advisor with VALIC in 1989. During her 20 year career with that organization, she became a highly regarded advisor and educator. She traveled extensively conducting workshops and seminars throughout the country on a wide variety of topics. Patti has been instrumental in developing presentations and educational material for clients, designed to make financial planning easier to understand. Some of her areas of expertise include State Retirement systems (PERS), Social Security Integration, Windfall Elimination Provisions, and Pension Plans.
Patti is a 35 year resident of Nevada and believes firmly in giving back to the community. She helps at Friends of the Desert homeless outreach, does volunteer work with Ronald McDonald House, makes cards for various charities, and volunteers with her Church organization. Patti is also currently serving on the Board of Directors for the American Lung Association, Nevada chapter.
Patti has been married to her husband Clay for 42 years. They have five children, four daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, and twelve perfect grandchildren.
